Hey Legend! Thanks for stopping by, if you're looking for a particular blog you can click the categories below for easy access!
I first met Kylie and her Mum when they came out to visit me at Sutton Grange open day, a mutual friend of ours had told Kylie that I was out there, so she came out to visit me which made me feel a bit spesh!
Kylie was so cruise in the lead up to the wedding day, and I soon learnt that Chris was too once we had met up to confirm all the details. They had chosen the grand Sacred Heart Cathedral for their ceremony and Fortuna Villa for their reception. The perfect combination!
I started off with the Groomsmen (and lady, in this case!), as per usual – And drove out to Harcourt to Chris’ family home to see what they were up to. The views from their home were INCREDIBLE!
Once I had what I needed from the boys (+ girl!) I set off back into town to see Kylie and the girls.
Kylie had hired the most gorgeous old home in White Hills, that was so cosy and picturesque!
It was a bitterly cold day, and even though it wasn’t raining. It was that cold wind that hurt your skin when it hits. Even so, I thoroughly enjoyed working in a long sleeve, as opposed to my usual summer get-up.
Kylie and her Bridesmaids travelled in convoy in a set of beautiful vintage cars, and pulled up to Sacred Heart Cathedral just as it was starting to rain.
Kylie was walked down the aisle by her Mumma, and Chris watched on in awe as his Bride came closer and closer.
The ceremony was beautiful.
Once all the formalities had taken place, it was time for the fun! Kylie had her heart set on a certain type of truck, one that she had hung on a poster in her bedroom as a young girl. She finally found *the* truck (at the generous folk at Whitelock’s) and luckily, they were just as excited as her to lend it to us for a few hours.
We went up to Mickey Mouse Hill for some quick snaps, before heading to Fortuna Villa to make the most of the amazing property and all is has to offer!
(The underground tunnels are my fave!)
The venue was set up so beautifully, with personalised signage, candles and rose gold glitter runners… Just stunning!
Before the formalities began, Chris + Kylie requested some night time shots back at the cathedral, so we went and did that (just as it started to pour with rain!) – It was FREEZING! And my flash wasn’t cooperating in the cold… But it only takes one shot…
And we got it!
Thank you so much for inviting me along to be a part of your day!
I wish you all the health and happiness in the world!
Big love, Leah
~ xoxo ~
