Hey Legend! Thanks for stopping by, if you're looking for a particular blog you can click the categories below for easy access!
It was about 3 months before their wedding when I got a casual phone call from Cass asking me to get on board her NYE party train! No freaking out from this chilled Bride, CAN plan a ripper wedding in 3 months… No worries at all!
I met with Cass + Nathan at The Exchange Restaurant, Bendigo – The Venue for this shindig. And when I say party… It really was… A Party!
~
So first, I rocked up to Nathan’s mates house and knocked on the door to be told “Nup, never heard of him – No wedding here” – In the .05 seconds it took for him to tell me he was messing with me, my heart skipped a beat thinking of what I do next!
HA. HA. YOU GOT ME!
Nathan was super chilled (like most Groom’s!) as we Googled how to tie a tie and he sipped a beer casually with his mates before making his way to Rosalind Park for the ‘First Look’.
~
Cass was much the same… Super chilled. Getting the finishing touches on her makeup (AMAZZIINNGGGG ~ by Bendigo’s Beauty by Jai), having a laugh with her Parents and her Sister as we soaked up the much needed air con on the 37 degree day!
(Side-note… Can you GET A LOAD of THAT dress??!!)
Just. WOAH.
Hair, Makeup, Dress – On point.
Everything = BREATH-TAKING.
As far as Wedding’s go, this one was pretty untraditional, because…
A) Cass + Nathan hung out together for a couple of hours before their dusk ceremony
B) There was no Bridal Party (as such)
C) Tequila Shots were enjoyed by family & friends during the ‘First Look’
D) Tequila shots were enjoyed by Cassie and her Dad pre-walk-down-the-aisle…
E) ANNNDDDD… Some kind of red-delicious-looking shots were enjoyed by all guests during the ceremony
This is one my funn-est & favourite-est (Yep, they are words) weddings OF. ALL. TIME.
It was so refreshing hanging out with Nathan + Cass for THEIR day, and they did it THEIR way.
They are funny, kind, relaxed, great people to be around. Their family and friends love them and care for them so much, and you can see why.
After 12 years together, these two are still as in love as the day they met. They have made a life with each other and they quite clearly still enjoy each others company.
What an honour it was to be a part of this New Years Eve Wedding – I wouldn’t have wanted to be anywhere else, and that’s the honest truth.
~
Nathan + Cassie ~ My sincere best wishes for many, MANY more shots together!
