Bendigo Wedding Photographer ~ Pete + Larrissa

This wedding has been a LONG. TIME. COMING!!

Larissa contacted me wayyyyyy back at the start of last year, and initially booked me in for her wedding in March of this year… GREAT! PUMPED! Not long after I get a frantic message from her… “Leah,  I’m SO sorry, we have to change our wedding date… I’M PREGNANT! Is that OK???”

OF. COURSE!

Throughout her pregnancy we messaged back and forth, and I got to know this lovely lady and we quickly became friends. December 2014 came and Larrissa and Pete welcomed a spunky little boy. And what a beautiful natured little fella he is… But I wouldn’t have expected anything else with his wonderful parents!

*** FAST FORWARD A YEAR & A HALF ***

Pete + Larrissa’s wedding was an intimate wedding, that focused on their beautiful family they have made for themselves. One of the most beautiful moments was when the 3 of them walked down the aisle together. What a GREAT idea to involve your child! I might have had a little tear behind the camera (NOT the first of the day…)

Back to the start of the day though!!

Both Pete + Larrissa were SUPER chilled! Like, not even kidding. Pete had his mates at home, got dressed, had a beer… No fuss. Love it!

Then over at Larrissa’s sisters home, her side of the family spent the morning eating, talking, laughing and hanging out with Harrison. The Bridesmaids looked *Stunning* in their floral City Chic dresses, complimented with the perfect baby’s breath bouquets. Seriously, how good is baby’s breath?! Larissa casually got her dress on like it was no biggy, even though she looked

AHHHH-MAZING!!!

NOW…

Larrissa *knew* that she would, in her words “be a wreck” if she saw Pete for the first time walking down the aisle. She was super nervous about that.

So kicking traditions to the kerb (as they did so well!), they decided on a ‘First Look’ ~ I could almost feel the butterflies in Larrissa’s stomach as she walked up the bush track (The one they regularly walk their dogs on, cute!) to see the man that she would be able to call her *HUBBY* in a few short hours.

I had goosebumps, and butterflies, and another teary when they saw each other for the first time. I *LOVE* the idea of a first look ~ The time with each other is *SO* beautiful… Beyond words!

PHEW! Nerves are gone!!

Onto the ceremony… Held at the picturesque LynneVale Estate in Mandurang. This location has a SU-PERB view while y’know… Getting hitched!

It was seriously just beautiful. Once the formalities were done with, we just strolled around the property! The bridal party were easy-going legends…

THAT always helps! Beautiful couple, beautiful family, beautiful venue… How easy is that to capture beautiful photos!!?

Just *SO* beautiful in every way.
