Hey Legend! Thanks for stopping by, if you're looking for a particular blog you can click the categories below for easy access!
Ahhh these guys!! So calm, cruisey and just down-to-earth legends!
Jordy grew up in Ballarat, and when she moved over here for Uni (hello Pharmacist!!) she met a guy at Bootcamp… And the rest is history really!!
When I asked Jordy what kind of wedding she wanted, she replied with “simple, fun & unique”, and what I’m about to show you is exactly that! These guys have such a great group of friends, and the vibe of the day was so beautiful.
I started off with the boys at Jordy + Dylan’s home and they were feeling super relaxed and got ready in a calm and steady manner (with loads of banter and hanging shit on each other, as you do!)
One they were ready and all suited up, it was time for me to head over to the girls who were getting ready at the All Seasons Resort. I walked in and the attention to detail on all the little bits & bobs Jordy has though of was incredible. The dress, the shoes, the Bridesmaids gifts… Everything was thought of.
Jordy got into her beautiful wedding gown as her Momma looked on in awe.
Next stop was the ceremony. Which was held at Bishop’s Court, a private backyard in Forest Street in the Bendigo CBD. This wasn’t the couples first ceremony choice, they had booked with Ravenswood Homestead – But with the lack of communication in the sale they unfortunately lost their deposit and had to look elsewhere. Being the optimist she is, Jordy moved on and didn’t dwell on their bad luck (which seemed so unfair at the time) and this beautiful intimate backyard was more beautiful than anything anyway!
With the formalities done, and the newlyweds now officially… Mr + Mrs Stanyer (YASS!!) it was time for the guests to head to the reception at All Seasons and us to chase the light and find some pretty locations for some portraits.
These guys were so much fun to hang out with. Riding in the limo listening to all the funny stories was absolutely a highlight! But as the sun set, it was time for these lovers to join the rest of their loved ones for the party – So we were chauffeured to the Conservatory (part of the All Seasons) in time to be introduced officially!
As the couple were introduced, they walked in hand-in-hand and went straight into their first dance and with their friends and family watching on these two still only had eyes for each other. Gahh!
Guys, thank you so much for inviting me in to be a part of your day. I know finding a photographer you could feel comfortable with was at the top of your wish list so I am pleased you chose me.
Wishing you a lifetime of happiness together, which won’t be hard when you love each other like you do!
Big Love, Leah
~ xoxo ~
