Feather & Noise | Spring Racing Campaign

Well holy batman shit, I’m still pinching myself that I was asked to come and shoot with some of Australia’s biggest fashion influencers AND one of my favourite brands… Feather & Noise!

When Ali emailed me asking if I’d consider driving down for the shoot, I took about .0002 seconds to reply with a “SHIT YEAH!!!” You see, Feather & Noise has been on my ‘dream client’ list for a while now, so I was (still am!) pretty bloody chuffed to have been invited to tag along for the day!!

We started off at Min Studio in Yarraville (Umm… Wow!) where all the ladies got their pamper on. Makeup by Nicole Kene, Dresses by F&N, Flower crowns by Little Twig. I mean, no detail was spared for this campaign!

The atmosphere was beautiful chaos! Lots of long-time Insta friendships were turning into IRL (in real life) friendships, and it was just… electric!

Myself included, getting to meet some of these women who I’ve chatted to and followed online for ages… It’s just *such* a good feeling when you can touch/hug/love these people in real life!

The highlight of my day? (God there were SO many!) Meeting Kim… from Captain + Co. Kim has supported me right from the very start, and far out. I just have all the heart eyes, all the good feels, all of the LOVE for this woman!

It was all hands on deck when we got to Werribee Mansion to set up a Spring Race’y little situation.

Ali and her team lugged in props, food, shoes, accessories… SO much effort went into setting up this day! And these guys absolutely nailed it, everything looked amazing. And everything went off without a hitch. Talk about PRO!

Plate Got Ate treated us with some too-good-to-eat-but-we-did-anyway platters. Boutique Cake Art created THE biggest and most beautiful cake I’ve seen. And Little Twig adorned the tables with fresh blooms to top it all off.

And then? My favourite part… getting to hang out and watch the pro Katie Fergus do her thang! And taking a couple of shots while I tagged along.

Shooting fashion is something I have always been interested in, being able to marry the model with the clothing and make them both look HOT is so satisfying!

Seriously, every single style put together was simply perfect. Jess (Ivory Moth) you are so talented!

I think it’s ridiculous (and AWESOME!) that I get to call this work.

Hanging out with inspiring women. Eating good food, drinking champagne.

Like… is this even real?
