Hey Legend! Thanks for stopping by, if you're looking for a particular blog you can click the categories below for easy access!
I was starting my Pinterest research, and this sprinkle themed party was decided after seeing an AMAZING looking cake (which mine looked NOTHING like!) Then it snowballed… So for everyone wanting to see a bit more of Audrey’s party details… Here you go!
The cake and food were the main decorations really, and that AMAZING wallpaper made everything look spectacular! I had my light box (and borrowed a friends, thanks Stace!), and some confetti balloons from Red Fox Party… Because, confetti!!! For the party favours we opted for some playdough for the kids. Not just any playdough, Happy Hands Happy Heart playdough.. which is all natural and scented. Em, the creator of HHHH is a friend of mine and hooked me up with some special tags so everyone can remember they were from Audrey’s 1st birthday. Seriously, I will be doing that again – Beats lolly bags any day of the week, it’s affordable, and it’s stress free!
I Pinterest’ed the hell out of sprinkle related food, and ended up with fairy bread (obvs!), Pink chocolate dipped marshmallows, pink & white chocolate dipped pretzels (OMG YUM!!!) and white chocolate dipped strawberries! And lastly some rainbow fruit sticks…. The ONLY healthy food there, But *hey* it’s a kids party!!
Simple, but oh so delicious and really pretty looking! Because we had hired an eatery (Grill’d, Bendigo) I couldn’t have any savouries or drinks for this kiddies this time ~ Which was kind of great because, less pressure AND awesome Grill’d burgers!!
THE cake!! Took me 6 flipping’ hours to make, but boy am I proud of it! A) I baked (and I don’t bake!) and B) it looked AND tasted decent!! I was going to make one of those loaded cakes with the drippy stuff… But I opted for simple (which was not simple, but imagine how long it would have taken for the loaded cake!) ~ I started with this bamboo cake topper from Kasoobi, and worked around that!
Audrey had no idea all the fuss was about her, but she was pretty stoked with her first taste of cake, at least! Audrey was dressed in her favourite label (ok, ok.. It’s mine but whatever!) Talking Red (Romper), which is actually where the sprinkle idea originated! Being winter, we needed something long sleeve so when I saw the DDHQ long-sleeved playsuit, that was purchased in an instant! And topped off with some stylish leopard print moccs from Just Ray Baby, and a sprinkle headband from TopKnot Girl! Per-fect!! (I can see some of you rolling your eyes at how OTT I have gone… And I know! But it’s me!)
We would like to thank EVERYONE for Audrey’s birthday wishes & kisses. She is one lucky little lady, and we feel so blessed to have such wonderful people in our lives. Even my friends on the interweb have made us feel so warm & fuzzy, I feel like I know you all!
End note: I would like to note that none of the above brands mentioned above are sponsored in any way, I am just sharing with you the stores that I love and buy from 🙂

Note: the older she gets the less she wants to cooperate… Eg: below
Annddddd lastly, a huge thank you do Mr. LLP (Dezzy) for allowing me to follow my dreams, endlessly supporting me in business (and life) and being a great Dad (and packhorse)!
Big Love, LLP
