This Echuca Moama wedding is not one to miss! What an absolutely, truly stunning wedding this one was to wrap up wedding season for me!
Jaye and I have known each other for close to 10 years, so when he got in touch to ask if I would photograph his wedding, I was pretty stoked.
Jaye is a larrikin, so I knew that his chosen Bride was going to be easy-going and would have to love a joke. He brought Sarah out to my house and we all had a beer together and discussed the plans made to date… Sarah likes a beer – Legend already! Jokes aside though, Sarah is such a kind and thoughtful woman, and so very easy to talk to – I knew we would have fun together!
Jaye and Sarah chose Tindarra Resort on the Murray River (Moama, NSW) for their ceremony and reception, and when I turned up I could see why!
An absolutely STUNNING location nestled in bushland on the edge of the river – And with accommodation, ceremony space AND a marquee for the reception – There is no need to go anywhere else really!
I started off with the boys as I usually do, and when I knocked on the door Jaye was finalising his speech for that night. He seems pretty quiet, which is unlike Jaye, so I knew he was nervous!
As I captured the details of Jaye’s get up – The boys heard a loud BANG!
I stupidly stood on a coffee table to hang his suit… and well, the rest is self explanatory… I pretended like nothing happened as I nursed my behind! Luckily Dustin, the video guy was not recording!
(Note to self: Do not stand on coffee tables to hang suits again.)
I had some pretty sweet bruising to show off for the next week!
The boys looked dapper in their navy suits and brown shoes – I have to say one of my favourite colour combinations of all time!

Off to apartment No. 22 to where the Ladies were calmly getting ready. Sarah is 1 of 4 Sisters, so having them as her Bridesmaids was pretty special. I can tell she is extremely family oriented with the way she looks at her Nephews and Nieces and all the immediate and extended family that was in and out of her apartment.
That might stress some Brides – Not Sarah.
You can see how much love is there in this family, they are tight knit.
With her Mum doing the Makeup, her Aunty doing the Hair and her Nephews as page boys, this wedding was truly a family affair!
Sarah’s endlessly talented Mum, Joan, even made Sarah’s Dress, the Bridesmaids dress AND the Groomsmen and Page Boys ties. Is there no end to the ability of this woman?
You’re a legend Joan!
As Sarah added the finishing touches to her hair, and added her veil I went out to the ceremony area to wait.
Jaye the keen fisherman wanted to do something different for his wedding, and when his dreams of a Lion King themed wedding were swiftly knocked back, he decided on arriving…
In his tinny!!
As he waited for his love to turn up, I could see his nerves had taken over and he really couldn’t wait to see her…
So when Sarah and her Dad drove up to the alter – He couldn’t hold back the tears any longer.
SWEETEST. THING. EVER!
As they shared their vows to one another before their closest and dearest, it was easy to see the love and respect these two have for each other.
Once the formalities were over I let Jaye + Sarah greet their ever so excited guests and quickly took some snaps of the exquisite setup they had created with the talented Tindarra Resort wedding planner, Monique.
Then for the fun of the bridal party portraits! We drove around Moama to find some stunning locations and took advantage of that golden hour lighting!
Jaye + Sarah, I know you have the happiest and brightest future ahead of you – Hopefully filled with lots of beautiful kiddies of your own because you certainly have so much time and love for the ones that are already in your life.
Thank you so much for having me a part of your very special love-filled day.
Big Love, LLP
