Hey Legend! Thanks for stopping by, if you're looking for a particular blog you can click the categories below for easy access!
Oh my gosh, these guys are just the loveliest humans and the most beautiful little family. Chloe + Tyler were so chilled and so easy to work with, nothing phased them. They just wanted to have a beautiful wedding with their family and friends and two beautiful children, Jasper & Audrey.
And that they did!
I started my day off with the fella’s at their family home in Maiden Gully. Good mates, beer and banter… what more could you want? Tyler had his Dad, Brother and good mates there to support him and everything was very relaxed and calm.
I left the boys to head over to the View Street Apartments to see what the girls were up to. Chloe was there with her kids, parents and beautiful Bridesmaids.
While I was taking photos of her (stunning!!) dress, I noticed a black dot. Upon closer inspection, it was a Ladybug! I don’t know if that is some sort of meaning… But I’m saying there has to be! (Read on to find out the second part to this story!)
Chloe got Jasper & Audrey dressed, and then it was her turn… but with both kids close by her side <3
THAT DRESS!! PHWOARRR!!
Those butterfly wings on the back, the lace, the detail. AMAZING!!
With everyone dressed and ready to go, it was time to make the short car trip to the ceremony that was held at one of my all time favourite venues, the Gallery Cafe.
As Tyler waited at the top of the alter under the beautiful Jasmine covered wall, Chloe approached.
Arm in arm with her Dad, walking towards Tyler and her kids who were looking on in absolute awe.
The ceremony was beautiful, and was lead by Chloe’s Nana! XXX.
The whole ceremony was a family fare, with Jasper & Audrey a huge part of all the formalities.
With the marriage certificate signed, and sealed with a kiss – It was time to announce… Mr + Mrs Morcombe!
With all the well wishes wished, it was time to wander around the gallery precinct with the bridal party for some more formal photos of the day.
For a couple who told me they weren’t very photogenic… Umm… I beg to differ!!
Back to the party, ahem.. I mean reception where they were welcome with cheering and wolf-whistles by their guests… It was time to let their hair down (No pun intended Tyler!) and relax!
With the sun starting to set, and my time with the couple almost at an end… I remembered I had coloured smoke flares in my bag. We ducked around the corner quickly and lit the blue flare to take some fun photos, but I mistakingly forgot to tell the venue owner (Sorry Linc!) what we were doing and with the perfect gust of wind blowing the smoke (which seemingly lost it’s colour) back towards the reception, we were greeted by 2-3 fast thinking staff members with buckets of water to put out what they thought was a fire (my bad!) – Totally worth it though right?
Guys, thank you! Thank you for inviting me to be a part of your crew for the day. I thoroughly enjoyed hanging out with you and your loved ones and think you have the loveliest little family getting around! More couple like you, please!!
Big love, Leah
