Hey Legend! Thanks for stopping by, if you're looking for a particular blog you can click the categories below for easy access!
I had the privilege of meeting Tamera Grant, the owner of a wonderful Bendigo business called ‘Wear It Once‘ – As the name suggests, it is all about dress hire!
Tamera has the most amazing collection of designer dresses, in all different sizes, that us lucky ladies are able to hire out for special events! And more recently? Tamera launched her Bridesmaids dress hire – GENIUS!! So… I caught up with her to ask her a few weird and wonderful questions, so you can get to know her a little as well!
I have loved fashion for as long as I can remember, all my girlfriends used to wear my stuff as well (they were smart not wasting their money haha) and I had talked about how cool the hiring thing was for a long time and when I went on maternity leave my friends helped make my decision to start it! I love it, love fashion and dresses and helping people (plus I have no real social life anymore so atleast I can help others look good for theirs )
Actually having the courage to take the risk and launch the business! I felt sick the night it launched and to stop worrying about what people might think.
Besides my beautiful daughter – the business and the fact I actually have customers I was so scared no one would want to hire from me.
Hmm tough one as much as I love guns and roses and pearl jams 90s hits you can’t go past the old gangstas paradise haha
I hate coriander
Meeting so many beautiful people! Having no restrictions on what I may want to do with it, the sky’s the limit!
Goodness I think i would need a book, anything or everything! Probably usually what I have to do for the day/week ahead!
Well non business related but at this point in time I am most excited about my wedding and honeymoon! But other than that just life! The business, I am super excited for the ideas I have and where it will take me and the amazing people I will hopefully continue to meet!
There really is no one particular business that stands out, I really think successful or not anyone that loves what they do and that has the courage to start their own business is inspiring. Although I would also say my parents! Having owned their own businesses in the past and they are such hard workers and their support of me doing this has been amazing.
Hahha to help lots of pretty girls find pretty dresses to wear to parties.
– I have a daughter called Indi
– I am petrified of spiders, me and my sister inlaw once had a spider in the car on a late night drive to hungry jacks and both jumped out of the car in the middle of a main road in our night pj”s (obviously not safe or overly attractive for other cars, but it was so big and scary)!
– I am a terrible singer as much as I love a good karaoke night
– I once met Andy Lee at a rooftop bar in Bali got a pic on my phone to of course show all my friends I had met him and that night lost my phone so have no proof of ever meeting him, and pretty sure most people think I make it up haha!
– I could pretty much live on Mexican and doughnuts!!
