Surprise Wedding
I was soooooooo excited when Alanna got in touch to book me for her 30th Birthday Party AKA Surprise Wedding!!!
I’ve never done anything like it before, and I knew it would be so much fun!
Alanna said they’d been umm’ing and ahh’ing for ages when to get married, and her 30th was pending, so they both said “Let’s do it!!” ~ They managed to pull the surprise part off by telling their guests that Todd was organising a surprise party for Alanna. He sent out the invites, and fielded all the questions, and he did it bloody well!
The girls started off getting ready in the Fountain View Apartments on View Street, where Alanna’s STUNNINNGG long sleeve, blush pink gown fit in nicely with the beautiful antique furniture on display. Alanna invited her Mum and two Sisters up to help her get ready, and calm her nerves.

It is the most beautiful winter gown I’ve ever laid my eyes on, and I love, love, LOVE that she picked something that suited her, regardless of traditions!

Then off to La Piazza, where Todd was keeping his guests entertained, until he announced they were all going to go for a quick walk up the street so that Alanna would be truly surprised when she arrived.
Surprise Wedding
Little did everyone know (I think some had cottoned on!), he was leading them up to St. Kilian’s church, one block away.
TO. GET. MARRIED!!
Todd led everyone inside, and without actually confirming what was happening, the expression on everyone’s faces spoke for themselves!
SO exciting!!
Alanna met their Son, Thomas out the front, where he was to help walk her down the aisle.
A beautiful and intimate ceremony to marry this lovely little family together. It was so lovely to be a part of it.
Then for the fun part, the party! But not before we snuck off to Rosiland Park for a few cheeky shots!
The moment they were announced as Mr + Mrs Miller was priceless, they entered the dimly lit room and walked straight into their first dance, which was then turned into a family dance as Thomas was added to the duo. The drinks flowed and the food looked sensational, La Piazza really know how to put on a wedding!
Thank you Miller’s, for inviting me to be a part of this awesome celebration.
Happy Wedding Day AND Happy 30th Birthday to Alanna! Best present you’ve ever received, I reckon!
Big Love, LLP
~ xoxo ~
